DESCRIPTIONS

In class we have been talking about different types of paragraphs. For this first blog you will write a paragraph describing how you see yourself.

Sample:

I am 5'4" TALL. I have STRAIGHT, LONG BLACK hair and DARK BROWN eyes. I'm not FAT but I would like to lose about five pounds. People say that I have INDIAN-LIKE features. I'm a FRIENDLY person, but somewhat SHY. I consider myself a LOYAL friend and a GOOD mom. On the NEGATIVE side, I can be very IMPATIENT, UNORGANIZED, and SENTIMENTAL.

TASK: Write a paragraph describing your physical and personality traits. Minimum 10 adjectives. Identify the adjectives by using all caps (letra mayúsculas).

WELCOME TO BLOGGING

Hi! Welcome to English 1103. As part of the English class, we will be working on blogs. The blogs will provide you with an opportunity to practice your English outside the classroom. Throughout the semester you will be required to comment on my blog entries.

Points will be given for your effort. No points will be deducted for errors. However, points will be deducted for incomplete work, late entries or work not done by you. Remember, this is just another way to practice English so do the entry by yourself.

At the end of each blog, a due date will be posted. Each blog is worth 10 points. If the entry is late (up to 3 days), you will only get 5 points. Entries posted later than 3 days will NOT be counted.
